THEpituitary adenoma is a benign tumor of the pituitary gland. Its diagnosis can be difficult and must be managed by a multidisciplinary team, consisting of: endocrinologist - ophthalmologist - neuroradiologist - neurosurgeon. 

Because it can cause visual and hormonal disturbances potentially serious, treatment is, in most cases, surgical. It generally comes with the use of a camera through the nose.
